In Acts 16 we see Paul begin his second missionary journey. This time he brings along Silas and adds to his company along the way Timothy and Luke. In Acts 16 we find stories of Paul’s journey that encourage and challenge our faith. But they also example an authentic faith, one which is rightly placed in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Accompanying this authentic faith are marks or byproducts. These marks may be used to test our faith to see whether our faith is genuine (2 Cor. 13:5). These marks, among others listed throughout scripture, serve as measures in which disciples of Jesus may examine our lives to see that our faith is genuine.
